Welcome!

My name is Phyllis Goins. I am your child's social studies teacher for the upcoming school year! I am a parent myself, and I have a 13 year old as well as a 23 year old. I also own two cats and two birds. I enjoy reading activities such as visiting bookstores, listening to audiobooks, and collecting used books for community donations. I also enjoy social studies activies related to investments and culture studies. I love investing my time in environmental studies and astronomy. In my class you will experience music and dance integration to make your learning experience more enjoyable to increase learning retention. 

I am looking forward to working with families and getting to know your children. My goal is to help your child succeed in their education as well as have a pleasant day at school each and everyday.
