My name is Cathy Myers, and I'm an Inclusion Teacher at Park Avenue Elementary. I am a native of Chatham, Va. where I attended Chatham High School. I received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from The University of Virginia and teacher certification from The University of Virginia.  I attained my Master's Degree in Education from Longwood University. I am currently in my 26th year of teaching. I taught a self- contained classroom and Inclusion classes at Park Avenue.  I am a family-oriented person and love spending time with family. I look forward to working with you and your child to ensure complete success in school. I believe that every child has the ability to learn and I strive to capitalize on their strengths, addressing social-emotional, physical, and mental aspects of each individual  in order to make them productive citizens and starting them on the path to becoming lifelong learners.
