Park Avenue Elementary

Hi Park Avenue Panthers!!  I am very excited to be beginning a brand new year.  I have been teaching 26 years and 20 years of that time has been spent in 1st grade.  I really love first graders and I love teaching all the fun things we will be learning this year!! I have a B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Averett University.  I have three kids who are all grown up AND I have a granddaughter and 2 grandsons.  I love spending time with my family.   We have a big ol' dog named Honey and a very shy cat named Taboo.  I love to go hiking, sew, do crafts and cook.  Sometimes I even bring goodies I've made to school!!  We are going to have a great time learning and growing together this year!  Let's do this!!

Fun Fact about Mrs. Ferrell:   I went to school here at Park Avenue!  I was in the 4th, 5th and 6th grade here.  We won't talk about what year.
