This is my fifth year teaching at Park Avenue Elementary School. I got my bachelor’s degree from Longwood University with a license to teach PreK-6. My philosophy is that all students feel valued in their learning environment and that each student receives not the same, but what he or she needs.

     In my free time I love to swim. I also recently trained to run a 5k or 3.1 miles. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my daughter Emily and my puppies Desi and Loki. Thank-you so much for taking time to read a little bit about me.
