Teaching is an absolute passion of mine! I am so excited about working with you and your child! It's going to be a year full of fun, learning, and lots of adventures and I can't wait to see what the year has in store for us! But first, I thought you might like to know a little about me.

I am the mother of three beautiful girls, Omni, Maya, and Trinity. They take up most of my free time, but some hobbies that I enjoy are cooking, shopping, and reading. 

I have lived in Danville, Virginia most of my life. I graduated from George Washington High School, and attended Danville Community College, where I received an Associates Degree in Accounting. Sitting at a desk all day long crunching numbers wasn't for me, so I went to Liberty University and obtained my Bachelors' Degree in Education. I fell in love with teaching students how to read which lead to me obtaining my Masters in Education with a Reading Specialist Endorsment. 

This will be my fourth year teaching third grade at Park Avenue. Before that, I taught first grade for two years and preschool for ten years. I absolutely love teaching third grade! It is my mission to instill a love for learning in my students. I attempt to teach with a passion so that my students develop a desire to become life-long learners. I am looking forward to a great year together!
