WELCOME TO MUSIC!  

I am the music teacher for Park Avenue, serving all students in grades Kindergarten-5th.  This is my 14th year teaching and serving at Park Avenue Elementary.  I also serve as the Lead Teacher for Elementary and Choral teachers in Danville Public Schools.  I love getting to teach and build relationships in the different levels and especially enjoy watching them grow over the years I get to teach them.  From silly jumping songs and singing to playing recorder and guitar, my passion lies in music education.  I grew up on a dairy farm in Northern Virginia, went to Virginia Tech for undergrad and graduate school, and then settled and made my home in Danville, finding a love for this community and the students I serve.  I also have a husband that I help run an event rental business with, a daughter, and toddler son.  We have 2 dogs, 2 cats and love family time at the beach!
