My name is Heather Ferguson and I have been teaching for Danville Public Schools for ten years. This will be my sixth year teaching Fifth Grade. Prior to that, I taught First Grade. Within the school district, I am also a teacher Mentor and PBIS Coach. 

I received a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Averett University in 2013. I am currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a Reading Specialist Endorsement from Averett University and will graduate in 2024! 

When I am not teaching, you can find me enjoying time with my friends, family, and fur babies.
