Hello Second Grade Families, 

I am so excited about being your teacher this year. My name is Miss Dinkle. Second Grade can be a challenging yet rewarding year. We take concepts you have learned so far and build upon it in all subject areas. I plan to make learning fun for us all! 

A little bit about me: This is my fourth year teaching Second Grade at Park Avenue Elementary School. I was born and raised in Danville, Virginia. I have two dogs, Grizzly and Middie. My favorite color is purple.

I graduated with an Advanced Studies Diploma from George Washington High School in 2015. I recieved my Associate of Science Degree from Danville Community College. I attended Averett University during undergrad for Elementary Education and I am currently working to get my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a Reading Endorsement from Averett, as well. I look forward to another great year!
