First Grade Families

My name is Brittany Custer and this is my sixth year teaching for Danville Public Schools, all six years as a first grade teacher at Park Avenue. I have always loved the saying "If you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life." I feel so honored to be able to say that I absolutely love what I do.  I am so excited about being your child's teacher and I look forward to getting to know them and you this school year.

First grade is a wonderful grade. Students will get a chance to become a little more independent and learn so many new and exciting things. We take concepts your child has learned so far and build upon them in all subject areas. I plan to make learning fun for us all!
