Hi, my name is Ramona Blackwell and I am the Art Instructor at Park Avenue Elementary  School for  Danville Public Schools.I am a retired teacher from North Carolina Public Schools where I taught 30 years and held the leadership role as the Art Specialist for grades k-5 and Instructor for the Kirby Theater in Visual Arts .

I've taught in Danville Public School for 3 years.I have Artwork located in the Maud Gatewood Museum of Art located in Yanceyville N.C.and other local areas .

I received my Degree from Winston Salem State University with Honors and attended North Carolina School of the Arts. 

I later went back to school to obtain my Early Childhood  Administration Credentials and Graduated with Honors from that program of study .

Through my commitment and love of children it gives me great pleasure to educate today's kids for Tomorrow's future.
